About Me

My passion is furniture and lighting design, which I pursue both through my role as Retail Manager, Americas at Audo Copenhagen and outside of work by spending time on design writing, and research, attending lectures or talks in fashion or design, styling and curating for small businesses, and brushing up on sustainable architecture and materiality. In the weekends, I enjoy testing and developing recipes as well as set-up dinner events at home or in studios. Find out more information on these events linked here. My most recent recipe was a trout and pea Sui Mai, a homage to my Dutch and Cantonese heritage. I served the meal on ceramics that I collected on my travels. I also enjoy still-life photography with everyday objects (more here), and travel to visit unique stores and boutique hotels around the North East, i.e. Yowie and Goodneighbor Guesthouse.
